"I also believe that the Culica can be used as an education tool. It's like a blank canvas... Many great ideas can still emerge." [James adds, Verily, that is what Culica is all about! I still have many great games and ideas still waiting to be published on this website and I have more ideas all the time. And it is fantastic for education, teachers rave about the possibilities.]
Gabriel Fernandes February 2012
"Culica is a games machine"
Poker player: 3rd place in swedish championships February 2012
"You can play a variety of different games and puzzles with Culica. This is very unusual, as most puzzles have only a limited number of problems. With Culica you can play matching puzzles, assembly puzzles and different sequential movement puzzles."
"With this puzzle kids can learn logical and analytical abilities by playing. In my point of view Culica is ideal for school breaks - the games are short and you can play alone or together with several pupils. For adults, especially the harder puzzles such as CuRing are interesting."
Diniar - January 2012
"CuRing [One of the many Culica games - JE] is very challenging. Haven't yet been able to completely solve it."
"The Culica is very different from what I've seen, in a good way, and as a puzzle collector, I've seen a lot of puzzles and games."
"After you've played all those games and still feel unchallenged, why not create a game or puzzle with your own set of rules, if you're feeling creative, or just play with it to create cool patterns with the coloured pegs."
"It has many things in its favor, such as lasting appeal, variety of play and it's very affordable."

"Cupcake [nickname for a young child] has fallen in love with a new game. She has been inventing number games, pattern games, strategy games, racing games, collaborative games and competitive games."
"There are all kinds of mathematical principles and thinking skills that can be developed through playing with Culica. I also imagine the kinaesthetic nature of it may be good for left/right, cross-brain development. However, I don't think these things are anywhere as important as my daughter just loving it for it's fun factor!"
"For me, the best thing is that Culica is small enough to fit in a regular handbag so it's great for taking out and about with us. We've played with it on buses, in cafes, in waiting rooms..."

This is a very unique game. I was delighted to have something different for my 8 years old son. It was a perfect present for him. Now we can spend time together playing something different than the usual pc and console games. The game is very logical and gives you many different options.
Tangra January 2012
Massive fan of the game, a friend at work brought one in and explained the rules, and we haven't really got any work done since. Fantastic game for all ages, a little comfusing at first but highly addictive, everyone who has played it is completely hooked! GET INVOLVED

"Just a quick note to say, I am still playing Culica. It gets to you."
V. Leyloup Walsall October 2011
"I think it's great. There's so many combinations! you don't know if you have a wrong peg or a right peg... it's like, my heart is beating fast and my eyes are open wide and I'm going 'What am I going to do? Where am I going to put my peg?' I recommend other children would love it. It's challenging in a fun way!"
Abi - nearly 6, October 2011
Culica is an imaginative fun game that can be used in so many different ways. Our young kids enjoy using it for naughts and crosses but the colour problem or knights walk can be much more engaging if you a bit older!

"Culica is essentially a game of logic, very basically revolving around putting pegs onto a cube. Obviously there is much much more to it than that, but I’m finding it really hard to explain exactly what. It’s the kind of thing that you have to play yourself in order to fully appreciate it."
"On the included instructional cards you’ll find 5 different games to play, there are also more games being added periodically to the Culica website. So you're never going to be lost for things to do with your Culica."
"Even my 3yr old gets this game, and enjoys playing it along with the rest of the family."
"The best thing about the Culica games is that there’s no long drawn out setup, you basically put the pegs in a bag and your on your way. This is obviously ideal for families with younger children like me, but also a deal maker for getting other people to play with you who usually insist they don’t play games. What these people actually mean in most instances is that they can’t be bothered with the long and drawn out setup and endless explanations of rules that accompany most games. Having Culica be so easy to just pick up and play will hopefully persuade them to have a go."
Toybuzz UK, September 2011 From Toybuzz Culica Review
"We think your game is very special! A lovely example of a simple and attractive game that boasts good game play with interaction. We loved that Culica offers so many games in one and once you play one of the games you are compelled to play again, each game has its own unique still and my personal favourite was cuMOLECULA in single play. I also took this game home and played it with my daughter aged 8 and we played cuCOLOURS, she loved the fact that as the Culica cube got more and more full she had to ponder more and more to where to put the pegs, a game that gets more difficult as the game progresses, as with them all! There is an element of luck with the games pulling out coloured pegs that may help or hinder your following moves, but your slogan, Play it • Master it is spot on because until you play it you don't know how involved it is. Such a simple concept but excellently engineered with the different game play that promotes good great interaction with passing the cube around and logical thinking for all ages. With the option to expand the Culica cubes just opens up a whole gamut of possibilities with different game play."

“A game that uses your brain!!!!! Surely not. How nice to give my children something that I don't feel guilty about (along with books). It is a game that can be played around a campfire, dining room table or tossed across a living room to each other, a game that requires logic and strategy joined with a tactility rarely found these days outside a games console controller. Good reasonably priced fun that I would recommend you and the family engage in, and the best thing, it doesn't require batteries :) ”
M.S. Richards July 2011

"A brilliant game for the children to play on car journeys"
"Culica is a breakthrough innovation based on the Rubik cube. The Culica pieces are in four different colours: Blue, Red, Yellow & Green. The best thing about this is you cna play numerous game and also come up with your own game. I hope one day this game will be a revolution in the 21st century as this is a simple and easy game to play compare to video games which are dominating the games industry and leaving out the classic board games."
S. Thomas Birmingham August 2011

"We saw many new products at London Toy Fair this year but Culica was the only one that was genuinely original, interactive and had real mass market potential. There really is a gap in the market for a product like the Culica and there really is a need for a new craze in game land!"

We have yet to master the more difficult games but we will do as we're taking it [Culica] on holiday with us next week to play it with friends. Would definitely recommend it."

“Culica engages the curiosity. Even when you are playing it alone it is not a solitary game as it will engage the curiosity of others. Unlike handheld computer games which make it hard for others to really enage with what you are doing, Culica catches the imagination of you and those around you. For younger players it is a more sociable way to play on your own.”
“The Culica's 3D design is tactile and pleasing to hold. It wants to be carried like a book or a packed lunch.”
E. Winter May 2011
