What problem are we solving
The toy and games industry is sufferint from a lack of innovation. This means that there are few genuinely interesting and exciting toys and games for people to buy. Here, at Culica, we are changing that.
How is the Culica company solving that problem?
By creating great games such as the Culica. On the one hand the Culica game uniquie in the hardware sense, in terms of the physical shape and attributes. On the other hand we are inventing many games (games rules) that can be played on the Culica, and those are innovative and original too.
How will Culica benefit the World?
The Culica is a lot of fun. We expect that it will get people playing a non-electronic game socially, whether at home, or at parties or when travelling, you can play Culica almost anywhere. We expect Culica will get people away from the TV and playing! As well as being fun, Culica the Culica Company believes that playing Culica makes you smarter.
Also Culica has educational benefits too.
What are the Culica flagship products?
The Culica is our initial product. That is a brilliant product as it is, but we also have follow-up inventions in the pipeline.
In the past we have also produced a simple iPhone App. That software game has inspired the invention of the Culica, which is a hand held, electronics-free game.
In the summer (2011) Culica Ltd will be releasing not one, but TWO new software games based on the Culica. These are a 3D game named Culica Plasma and a 2D game called Culica Quest. These are already available on the Culica Games Store (Windows version) with iPhone / iPad versions imminent.

Who are Culica Ltd?
The Culica team comprises four key members (two of whom are the company founding directors), who combined have close to a century of experience in engineering, IT and market research industries.

- Chris Ollivier, Managing Director. Responsible for Business Management, Finance, Manufacture and Hardware Engineering, Distribution Logistics
- James Eadon MSc, BSc (Hons). Creative Director. Vision and Strategy, Invention, IP, Internet Tech, Website Content, Software / Solution Architect

The Founders
- Chris has 30 years experience in the Control Engineering and Power industries. He has profound experience in technical and managerial roles.
- James (MSc Physics and Computer Science) has twenty years experience designing and implementing Enterprise IT systems. For five years he has worked as an independent IT Systems Consultant, Technical Architect and Team Leader.
